House Maldorian

It is widely known that when the Great Houses came to power, houses Maldorian and Sanee were one house, their members trained in both the art of giving and receiving pain in equal measures. About 2000 years ago, the split happened, and most believe that it was some political hatred that led to the split, though the members of either House have never corrected nor confirmed this. 

 

It has also been that all sadists are sorted into Maldorian, though before they reach the age of majority at 18, they are often schooled in other houses, most frequently House De La'Mor, though it is not unheard of them to be fostered in any of the other great houses, only to return and train for 7 years in the art of giving pain.

 

It is important to note that Maldorian is the House of Sadists, rather than Dominants. It is pain, and not power that drives them.

The joint houses of Maldorian and Sanee were known as Koum-Mul. They were the second of the great houses behind De La'Mor and had a significantly larger section of land when they were together. There aren't a lot of records but what does exist shows they were very prosperous, and they lived in a fully integrated society.

 

Gossip

- Some historians note that the law regarding the forcing of sex came by a few years after the split between House Maldorian and House Sanee. 

- They are fiercely protective of members of House Sanee and of one another, to such a point that some tease them about belonging to House Andorian.
