The first of the Great Houses, House Felis is dedicated to compassion and diplomacy, most of their members choosing to be diplomats and to deal with disputes, both foreign and domestic. Some others choose to be monks at any of the temples, caring for both the temples themselves and those that find sanctuary inside them.

Like some of the other houses, members of House Felis have mentors who guide and train them, carefully cultivating diplomatic skills, but most importantly, compassion.

House Felis has a long and colorful history. Their members are usually the figureheads behind many treaties made with neighboring countries, but they also settle smaller disputes between houses, even individuals. House Felis received their formal recognition as a house in 1005 TD.  Three smaller houses decided to forge into one, to "make fair laws and provide legal representation to those less blessed by the Deities."

Though age is not a factor, many of Felis' Matriarchs and Patriarchs are older, using their skill and experience to guide their House.

Gossip

- Though they advertise their objectivity, people who are too compassionate cannot be objective.

- If there ever was a traitor amongst the Great Houses, look to the house that has the most dealings with outsiders.

- Who holds the loyalty of House Felis? The Queen? Or compassion?
